  A Coca-Cola Advertising Maquette 20th Century gouache on paper with collage inscribed costume Austrian to lower right 13 3/4 x 11 inches. The slogan used in this work, "the universal refreshing drink," was never deployed as an advertising campaign for The Coca-Cola Company. However, Coca-Cola entered Austrian markets beginning in 1938, and other details including the shape of the bottle and the presence of branded glassware support dating after the first quarter of the twentieth century.
